Our events include

Materials needed

• Drawing surface
• Paper or notebook
• Pen, pencil, marker, or crayon

The author and illustrator provide

• PDF and JPG files customized for school community promotions
• PDF customized for book pre-orders to be distributed or emailed to parents
• PDF of word search extension activity
• PDF of coloring activity
• Link to Video book of Read Island provided by the Described and Captioned Media Program of the Department of Education. 
• Signed, personalized books shipped to the school in advance of the event
• Three virtual presentations of approximately 30-40 minutes each, tailored to K-2 audience or other age group as needed

 The school, PTA or event sponsor provide

• Advanced notice to teachers and parents about the event
• Classroom familiarity with the book(s) prior to the event
• Purchased copies of the book(s) for the school and/or classroom teacher(s)
• Support for circulation and collection of pre-order forms and payments
• Bulk purchase of book(s) either collectively by parents or by school/organization
• Author honorarium based on scope and location of event(s)
